A two-stage jury will be used in which both relevance to the theme of sustainability and artistic merit are evaluated.  The jury process will be blinded as to name and biographical sketch of entrants.  Photographers may submit up to 4 individual images and each image will be judged independently.  The initial jury will consist both of individuals active in the area of environmental studies/sustainability who have an active interest in photography along with working artists.
